FAQ

  • Most flexible mesh both ring and cable mesh can span from 4-8m wide. The maximum length is endless in weave but supports are required every 3-4m to keep the span supported. The maximum install size of the mesh is not necessarily restricted by the mesh size but weight per m2. With this in mind the most common maximum span is 35-45m

The welded grid mesh i.e Mostella, has a maximum panel size of 750 x 1500mm. This is designed to be used with the Mont PR-FF ceiling system. The panels are fixed to the "W" support profiles with special "PR-FF" mounting brackets, and the grid is formed by cutting. Disassembly of individual panels (possible without the use of tools) does not disturb the remaining panels. In the Mont PR-FF variant, the assembled panels continue the grid pattern and form a uniform surface with no visible divisions.

  • Wind noise is sometimes an issue with flat perforated sheet style panels, where air moving across the flat surface and through the holes can create a whistling or humming effect. Wovenpanel mesh is different. It has a three-dimensional woven shape, not a flat perforated surface, so it does not behave like a flat sheet. This means the mesh will not whistle or resonate in the same way. We have also carried out acoustic testing on projects where wind noise was a concern, and the results confirmed that Wovenpanel mesh does not create this problem when used on the exterior of buildings.
